Valuniq HiRo half marathon & fun run

The Valuniq HiRo Run 21.1 Half Marathon – Hilpoltstein will start its 11th round on April 15, 2023. The run is organized by the Hilpoltstein triathlon and endurance sports club La Carrera TriTeam Rothsee and attracts several hundred runners to the castle town on Rothsee every year. Since 2015 there has also been a hobby run over 9.5 kilometers, which is ideal for beginners. The route of the half marathon leads from downtown Hilpoltstein via the Main-Danube Canal to Rothsee and back again, the hobby run starts at the same time at 4:30 p.m. In 2017, the Middle Franconian Half Marathon Championships were held for the first time on the half marathon route. That’s why the route was officially measured and is therefore eligible for a list of the best. In 2023 the Middle Franconian Championships will again take place in Hilpoltstein.

Since 2018 there has also been a relay race, where three runners share the half marathon route. Everyone runs about 7 kilometers, the baton is handed over at the Sailing Center Heuberg am Rothsee. Pupils (12 – 18 years) have their own relay classification. The categories are female, male and mixed.
