Film series “Global Melodrama” at Filmhaus from 20th May – 23rd June 22
“Global Melodrama – The Melodrama in World Cinema”
Starting May 20th the series at the Filmhaus features 10 films from classical Hollywood to contemporary melodrama. Introduced by renowned experts, the films will be shown in the original language versions with subtitles.

The event is in cooperation with the Filmhaus Nuremberg with the “Global Sentimentality Project” and the GRK 2726 “The Sentimental in Literature, Culture and Politics” at the Friedrich-Alexander-University (FAU) Erlangen-Nuremberg.
