Get ready for a weekend of excitement and celebration at the largest neighbourhood festival in Nuremberg – the Südstadtfest at Annapark. From June 30–July 2, the park will come alive with music, performances, and a vibrant atmosphere that will captivate visitors of all ages.

The festival kicks off on Friday with an incredible lineup of entertainment. At 6:30pm, the band “Alle Neune” will take the stage, setting the mood for an unforgettable weekend. The festivities continue at 8pm with the grand opening ceremony featuring Gymmick & the traditional beer tapping. Later in the evening, prepare to be blown away by the energetic performance of “Skyline Green” at 8:30pm, followed by the sensational ALC and Band at 9:45pm.

On Saturday, the Südstadtfest offers a diverse range of performances and showcases throughout the day. Starting at 1:30pm, be enchanted by the spontaneous music of the Bund Naturschutz, followed by a recitation of Brecht’s poems by Das Freie Buch at 1:50pm. The Tanzschule Surprise will then take the stage at 2:10pm, presenting mesmerising dance choreographies. Mischpacha e.V. follows with their own captivating dance performances at 2:35pm. At 3:15pm, the spotlight shifts to the runway, as Imedana e.V. Rosa Asyl presents a spectacular fashion show. Experience the rhythms and melodies of Congolese music with Bolingo e.V. at 3:45pm, and get ready to rock with Wood Choppers at 4:30pm. As the evening unfolds, the stage will heat up with electrifying performances by Las Carettas at 6pm, Trak Trak at 7:30pm, and the sensational Doctor Krápula at 9:30pm.

Sunday promises to be a day filled with music, cultural performances, and community engagement. Enjoy a delightful morning with various organisations offering live music during the Frühschoppen at 12pm. At 1:30pm, the Gesangsgruppe AMIN will enchant the audience with Turkish songs, followed by captivating dance choreographies from Tanzschule Erfolg at 2:10pm and Tanzschule Yulia Avdonina at 2:35pm. Get ready to be mesmerized by the flamenco dance performances by Tanzschule Madema Flamenco at 3pm, followed by an enchanting Indian dance performance by Tanzschule Chandrakalarubalayam at 3:25pm. The Alevitische Gemeinde Nürnberg e.V. will then captivate the audience with Anatolian music and poetry accompanied by the Saz at 3:55pm. At 4:35pm, enjoy the melodic voices of the Ukrainian singing group, followed by a showcase of talented performers from the youth sector at 5:15pm. As the festival draws to a close, be sure not to miss the soulful tunes of the Karin Rabhansl Band at 7pm, and the electrifying performance of Smokestack Lightnin’ at 8:30pm.

The Southside Festival is more than just a neighbourhood event; it is a melting pot of good ideas, fostering cultural exchange, urban development, and social projects. It is the multicultural character of the festival that truly sets it apart and makes it a unique experience for all attendees.
