STADTRADELN 2023 Kicks Off with Free Bike Check

Get ready, Nuremberg residents! It’s that time of the year again as STADTRADELN returns to the city. Starting on Thursday, June 15, 2023, the citizens of Nuremberg are encouraged to pedal their way to a better climate by accumulating as many kilometres as possible while competing with fellow participants and other cities nationwide. This exciting campaign aims to determine the “Most Bicycle-Friendly Municipality” and brings together numerous municipalities in a friendly competition.

To mark the beginning of this year’s event, a free Bike Check will be held at Gewerbemuseumsplatz, inaugurated by Daniel F. Ulrich, the Planning and Construction Commissioner. On Thursday, June 15, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, all interested individuals are welcome to drop by without an appointment and have their bicycles checked free of charge. This provides an excellent opportunity to ensure that bikes are in optimal condition for the upcoming cycling challenge.

STADTRADELN is not only a chance to contribute to a sustainable future but also an occasion for community engagement and active participation.
