On the last day of the special exhibition “Naturstoff / Kunststoff. Materiality in Nuremberg Art” – Sunday, June 11, 2023 – visitors have one last chance to join a guided tour at 3pm in the Kunstvilla located at Blumenstraße 17.

This unique exhibition showcases the works of 14 selected artists from Nuremberg who explore the boundaries between natural materials and industrial substances. It raises questions about the relationship between art and nature, as well as the human connection to the environment, as it often delves into the fusion of natural and artificial elements. The guided tour offers valuable insights into the artistic materials used by the creators and places selected works at the forefront. Admission to the tour is €4, in addition to the regular entrance fee.

Following the exhibition’s conclusion, the Kunstvilla will temporarily close for renovations until Thursday, June 29. However, on Friday, June 30, it will reopen to unveil the solo exhibition “Hasso von Henninges – 3 Walls | PressArt.” The museum festivity on Sunday, July 9, will mark the grand opening of the major exhibition “Vive la France!
