Mittelmeerfilmtage (Mediterranean Film Days) at Tucherschloss Museum

Join the highly anticipated Mittelmeerfilmtage (Mediterranean Film Days) at Tucherschloss Museum, presented by Mobile Kino e.V. From June 13–22, 2023, immerse yourself in the captivating atmosphere of the 500-year-old estate located at Hirschelgasse 9-11. The courtyard of Tucherschloss will be transformed into a mesmerising open-air cinema under the starry sky. Doors open at 8:30pm, with film screenings starting at 9:30pm.

Experience the sounds, vibrant colours, and unique rhythm of everyday life that evoke memories of your last journey to the Mediterranean. Through ten carefully selected films, you’ll be transported into the enchanting garden of Tucherschloss. Travel cinematically to Italy and Greece, relax on the beaches of Haifa, and explore a tailoring workshop in a charming Moroccan Medina. Take a behind-the-scenes look at the oldest university in the Islamic world in Cairo and accompany a young interpreter from Frankfurt to Tel Aviv.

• Monday, June 19 – Nostalgia (Italian)
• Tuesday, June 20 – The Golden Years (German)
• Wednesday, June 21 – The Perfect Boss (German/Spanish)
• Thursday, June 22 – The Blue of the Caftan (French/Arabic)

The films will be screened in their original language with German subtitles. Seating, snacks, refreshing beverages, and warm blankets will be provided, and some seating areas are covered.

Tickets are available online in advance at mobileskino.de for €8 plus a pre-sale fee. Remaining tickets can be purchased at the box office for €10 (€8 for reduced tickets) on the event day.
