Franconian literature festival – the texttage.nuernberg 2022

From Friday to Sunday, July 8th to 10th, 2022, the texttage.nuernberg invite you again to get to know bestselling authors, to look over their shoulders and at the same time to buy free stuff at the textualienmarkt and dive into the Franconian literary scene.

This year, the literature event organized by the educational center and the city library will take place in and around the ruins of Catherine (Katharinenruine) as well as in the course building of the educational center (Bildungszentrum), Gewerbemuseumsplatz 1. It is unique in its kind in Germany: only here does writing steal the show from reading! Everyone can take part, try their hand at writing and get creative.

Performances and actions, such as poems to take away, a work of art to touch and redesign or various text workshops encourage participation. Pop-up bookstores with the latest literary treasures from the region and information stands from Franconian associations and publishers invite you to stroll, exchange ideas and meet.
