Bavarian Europe Day in Nuremberg on 21st

On Saturday 21st May 2022, from 11am–5pm the city of Nuremberg will celebrate Bavarian Europe Day. The celebrations will take place around the Lorenzkirche in the centre of Nuremberg. Around 40 stands, various institutions, associations, and authorities will provide information on all aspects of Europe. There will be a great choice of various leisure and hands-on activities, such as a climbing tower, a competition, and a varied stage program. The JOSEPHS – Das Offene Innovationslabor is also taking part in the celebrations! From 11am–5pm you can experience the innovations of tomorrow, help develop them, and spin the competition wheel! 🚀 Make sure you’re there to have fun and win great prizes! 🏅

In addition, Lord Mayor Marcus König; the Bavarian Minister of State for European and International Affairs, Melanie Huml, and the representative of the European Commission in Germany, Dr Jörg Wojahn invite all citizens to talk about Europe. Starting at 4pm, they will be discussing the future of Europe with interested citizens in a citizens’ forum called “Europe in Dialogue” in the Bavarian Ministry of Homeland, Bankgasse 9.
